Air India flight with 330 passengers hits aerobridge

Around 330 passengers and crew members of an Air india (AI) flight from Riyadh to the town loose unhurt nowadays when the plane hit the aerobridge upon landing here. Some ground operators were skinned within the mishap that caused partial injury on the aircraft’s left engine, a political candidate same. The mishap at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International aerodrome triggered a blame game between AI and aerodrome authorities. While no passengers or crew were skinned as a result of the accident, some ground operators were skinned, a city aerodrome interpreter same, adding the incident, involving a Boeing 777-300 ER plane, happened at around 1520 hrs. Confirming the accident with flight AI 922, an airline official same the left engine sustained a minor bump and can be sent for scrutiny. The craft, that had around 330 passengers and crew members on-board, has been towed away to the construction.

The national carrier blasted the aerodrome personnel for the accident. “AI 922 Riyadh-Mumbai flight hit the aerobridge (used by passengers to board a plane) whereas parking at the arrival bay. The accident happened as a result of the guidance device of MIAL (Mumbai International Airport) displayed wrong info.

“Due to the current wrong info, that isn’t compatible with this model of craft, the left engine of craft got into contact with the pose aerobridge,” an Air Asian nation official same. But the aerodrome interpreter vehemently denied their role within the incident. “The accident has nothing to try and do with the guidance device of MIAL. The craft was being marshalled/ guided  by Air india workers throughout that it collided with the aerobridge. The craft suffered some minor injury.” The MIAL same the accident failed to cause any disruption of operations at the aerodrome, one in every of the busiest within the country.
